Technical Rescue and Extrication (TREX)

Tri-State Ambulance is contracted to provide technical rescue and extrication services to area agencies and businesses in both scheduled and emergency situations.

TREX can provide access to patients in the rescue environment until technical equipment for the arrives. TREX can also perform simple rescues in the low angle environment and some confined space environments as well as provide medically trained paramedics to work alongside area technical rescue teams.

TREX can provide these services to area agencies and industries:

  • High and low angle rescue.
  • Rough terrain search and rescue.
  • Confined space rescue without hazardous atmospheres.
  • Hasty Team (Fully equipped paramedics).
  • Medical support at technical rescue scenes.

TSA Medics Participate in Blue Planet Run
The 2007 Blue Planet Run Relay started at the United Nations building in New York on June 1st, 2007 and continued on schedule for 95 days ending back in New York on Sept 4th.  Medical support for this round-the-world event was primarily provided by TSA paramedics Kevin Kuchar, Mark Tweet, and Rick Barton.
