Beginning May 1st, four Tri-State Ambulance Paramedics will provide medical support for the 1700-mile, 26 day, relay to remember and celebrate our American heroes this Memorial Day. Beginning in West Point, NY and ending in Dallas, TX, this event will honor the men and women who’ve made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
“I am honored to support those working to highlight the true meaning of Memorial Day,” said Paramedic Supervisor Smitty Searles. “As the grandson of a World War II veteran, I am proud to serve those that have served.”
Also joining the relay will be Paramedic Field Training Officers Becky Schmidt, Jason Santos, and Eric Ellis. Each Paramedic will be traveling with the group for 7-10 days.
